NEW PRODUCTS

Jena Bioscience – Black Hole Quencher™: True Dark Quenchers without Native Emission

Black Hole Quenchers™ (BHQs™) are the gold standard among quenchers in molecular biology, especially for quantitative PCR (qPCR)
and other fluorescence-based assays.

Unlike traditional quenchers, BHQs™ are true dark quenchers without native emission, which reduces background noise and increases
detection sensitivity.

MagBio Genomics – The First Magnetic Bead-based Reagent for Removal of Short DNA Fragments

Short Fragment Depletor-10 High Throughput (SFD-10HT) reagent is a bead-based reagent used for size selection and purification of high molecular
weight DNA in long read sequencing. It can significantly improve the mean read length by near depletion of DNA fragments below 10 kb. This kit is
suitable for amplicons, sheared/fragmented DNA and genomic DNA.

Applications:

  • High Molecular Weight DNA: purification and concentration
  • Sheared/fragmented DNA: removal of fragments <10 kb
  • Library cleanup and rapid size selection >10 kb

FEATURED PRODUCTS

Vector Laboratories – VECTASTAIN® Elite® ABC-HRP Kit, Peroxidase (Standard)

The VECTASTAIN Elite ABC system is the most sensitive avidin/biotin-based peroxidase system and is approximately 5 times more sensitive
than the original VECTASTAIN ABC Kit. It is available without a biotinylated secondary antibody (Standard kit).

Features:

  • Advanced avidin/biotin technology: The Elite ABC complex is smaller, very uniform,
and highly active, allowing more accessibility for binding to a biotinylated target.
  • Cost effective: Higher sensitivity leads to lower cost per slide.
  • Kit contains sufficient reagents to stain approximately 500-1000 sections.

Solis BioDyne – SolisFAST® Master Mix, Ready to Load

SolisFAST® Master Mix is a 5x-concentrated, ready-to-use solution for fast singleplex and multiplex endpoint PCR assays. The mix allows
amplification of up to 5 kb fragments from low complexity DNA templates (e.g. lambda, plasmid DNA), and up to 3 kb from complex DNA templates
(e.g. human genomic DNA).

  • PCR Results in 20 minutes
  • Analyze one or multiple targets per reaction
  • Load directly on gel after PCR
  • Ice-free shipping
  • Go Green Check Mark Reduces lab waste

Vector Laboratories – Webinar: Mitigating ADC Toxicities with Linker-Payload Design

Thursday, November 14th at 3pm EST

Learn how PEG-containing linker-payload innovations can reduce risks in ADC development and enhance preclinical
outcomes.

Webinar highlights:

  • Gain insight into how most ADCs are processed through non-targeted mechanisms and the resulting toxicity risks.
  • Learn the importance of preclinical assays in evaluating toxicities and refining ADC designs.
  • Discover how adding PEG moieties to linker-payload designs can boost ADC pharmacokinetics and reduce adverse effects.

Presented by Matthew Giese, a seasoned synthetic chemist, specializes in ADC design, linker technologies, and bioconjugation
at Vector Laboratories. His expertise focuses on
improving drug delivery while minimizing toxicities in biopharma.

Cell Guidance Systems – Webinar: Bioprinting

Thursday, November 7th at 10:00am EST

Using cutting-edge biomaterials and ingenious manufacturing methods, Deepak’s lab produces co-axial extruded,
multilayer, growth factor depot-functionalized cellularized blood vessels. The sustained-release growth factor depots
direct to differentiate and maturation of the stem cells in situ without additional intervention.

Whether you are an expert or new to bioprinting, this webinar will broaden your understanding of this exciting field.
The webinar will provide:

  • An in-depth dive into cutting-edge materials and processes used to create complex multilayer biomaterials.
  • Insights into applications for research and therapeutic potential.
  • Q and A session

Presented by Deepak Kalaskar, Professor of Engineering at Univerity College London. Deepak Kalaskar has extensive experience in biomaterials, biocompatible
coatings, 3D printing technologies, design and development of medical devices and implants, regenerative medicine and bio-nanotechnology.

TECHNICAL REPORTS

Vector Laboratories – All About VECTASTAIN® ABC Kits for Immunodetection

Avidin-Biotin Complex, or ABC-based detection, is one of the most widely used methods for staining. This method exploits the high affinity exhibited
between the protein avidin and the vitamin biotin forming large macromolecular complexes containing multiple enzyme molecules – either horse radish
peroxidase
(HRP) or alkaline phosphatase (AP).

Thank You!
