- Hamilton HV, HVP, HVX, HVM, and HVXM valves have a port depth of 0.219 inches (5.6 mm) which is much shorter than the industry standard ports. This design minimizes the dead volume that is trapped in the valve port. To take advantage of this unique feature Hamilton has developed a line of short adapters that will only work with Hamilton Valves. Standard adapters for this port type can be found in this category.
