- Useful for separation of hydrophilic compounds
- Can be used with 100% water in mobile phase
- Different selectivity from conventional ODS
- YMC-Pack ODS-AQ has moderate hydrophobicity and hydrogen-bonding capacity. It shows different retention behaviour from that of YMC-Pack ODS-A, for samples with relatively high hydrophilicity.
- It is useful in fields including carbohydrate chemistry for oligosaccharides and glycosides, pharmacognosy and natural product chemistry
