  • YMC-Pack CN can be used in both normal-phase and reversed-phase modes, since it has cyanopropyl group of medium polarity chemically bonded to the stationary phase. It can be used in normal phase mode with low-polarity mobile phase such as hexane. It can also be used in reversed-phase mode with highly-polar mobile phase such as methanol and water.
  • Pack CN is useful for shortening analysis time when retention time is too long with ODS and useful in cases where separation optimization is difficult to achieve using ODS
