Ensure optimal GC analysis by using inert CHROMSPEC Gold GC Inlet Base Seals. These seals are precision machined from high grade stainless steel to provide exceptional sealing properties. The inert surface makes them suitable for analysis of active compounds such as pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and phenols. TECH TIPS

Cross Inlet Seals are ideal for use in high-flow split applications (>100 mL/min).  The 2 slits allow for more gas to flow through to the Electronic Pressure Control (EPC) sensor and split vent.

GC inlet seals should be examined at least once a month for corrosion, abrasions or a build-up of non-volatile contaminants and replaced if necessary. More frequent changes may be needed for instruments with heavy usage or for labs that are analyzing dirty samples. Regular maintenance helps minimize active sites in the inlet and prevents sample adsorption.
