Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG Antibody (H+L), Fluorescein, 1.5 mg, is prepared by hyperimmunizing animals to produce high-affinity antibodies that are then purified by affinity chromatography to remove any low-affinity antibodies. Cross-reactivities likely to interfere with specific labeling are removed by solid-phase adsorption. The final product is subjected to rigorous QC (immunodiffusion, solid-phase enzyme immunoassays, gel electrophoresis, and solid-phase binding assays). Great care is taken to ensure the maximum degree of labeling does not alter the specificity and affinity of the antibody. The labeled antibody undergoes more QC (immunohistochemical analysis). Unless otherwise specified, antibodies will recognize both heavy and light chains (H+L). This antibody can be used for flow cytometry or tissue staining. Optimal F/P ratios have been established for each conjugate to ensure maximum fluorescence with minimal background staining. Maximum excitation: 495 nm; Maximum emission: 515 nm.
