Buying tips that can help you get the best system for your money! 
Tip #1: Don’t be fooled by fancy, molded cabinets. Fancy cabinets do not purify water. Ion exchange resin does! AQUA Solutions offers more on exchange resin and capacity.
Tip #2: Save time and money - go for user friendliness: Make sure the system you buy is easy to install, operate, and maintain. Before buying, check for complex service requirements, like weekly chemical sanitization, that can complicate maintenance and your life, while costing you money and down-time.
Tip #3: Insist on a two-year warranty: Don’t settle for a one-year warranty.
Tip #4: Make sure it can run on ordinary tap water without costly pre-treatment: AQUA Solutions’ standard Type I DI systems can run on ordinary tap water containing as much as 250 ppm of total dissolved solids. That’s because they give you up to 4,000 grains of ion exchange capacity. And, the Type I and Type II/III RO+DI systems can run on any quality tap water containing as much as 1,000 ppm of total dissolved solids, since they include built-in RO pre-treatment, all in a single cabinet design.
Tip #5: Ask if a remote dispenser is included in the price: Some Type I systems don’t even have or include a remote dispenser. And others have one located up so high on the wall you have to purchase a second, or “remote-remote dispenser”, to dispense water at bench top level! AQUA Solutions systems include a recirculating remote dispenser with 7 or more feet of tubing and a 0.2 micron final filter capsule.
Tip #6: Think Green: We all need to protect the environment! Make sure you can recycle the exhausted DI modules back to the manufacturer. Some locations consider the disposal of ion exchange resin to be an environmental hazard.
