Restek uses EXP guard hardware for their UHPLC 1.8µm, 2.7µm and 5µm Raptor columns. EXP’s minimized internal volume preserves the narrow peaks required for fast separations on SPP columns. It also allows columns to run reliably from 400 to 1,400 bar so UHPLC owners can exploit the full capacity of Raptor to speed up their runs.
