Gel Permeation Chromatography

Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) is often used to determine the relative molecular weight of polymer samples or to do sample preparation of complex matrices. It is ideally suited for the removal of fats, proteins, and other large bio-molecules from samples in order to prevent interference in the analysis of chlorinated & organo-phosphorous pesticides, PCBs, polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), and other semi-volatile compounds. GPC separates analytes based on size or hydrodynamic volume (radius of gyration).
GPC Sample Preparation Systems
High Volume Sample Preparation:
LCTech – FreeStyle GPC
This automated GPC workstation does it all: Separation, SPE and automated concentration of each extract. It can process over 100 samples.

GPC Columns
Pickering Laboratories – LCTech Gel Permeation Columns
LCTech columns are available filled or unfilled as well as in different lengths and filling heights. They can be used with diverse solvents and are easily refilled in the lab.
