The Micronic 1.40ml tube with internal thread offers a unique combination of automated and visual sample identification. Four different coding options on a single tube ensure complete traceability. Human-readable codes and the option to add handwritten markings on the blank side wall allow researchers to quickly identify samples or verify data during storage, retrieval, or fieldwork. For automated workflows, the tube features a 1D barcode on the side and a 2D Data Matrix code on the bottom, ensuring seamless compatibility with automated reading systems and reliable sample tracking throughout the entire process.
The internal screw cap with a silicon O-ring provides an exceptionally tight seal for reliable cryogenic storage. Its internal thread design ensures optimal sealing performance, making it highly suitable for long-term sample preservation at ultra-low temperatures. The sturdy design and thick walls of the tube make it possible to safely store samples at cryogenic temperatures.
