Concanavalin A (Con A), Biotinylated

Concanavalin A (Con A), Biotinylated, 5 mg, recognizes alpha-linked mannose present as part of a "core oligosaccharide" in many serum and membrane glycoproteins. Biotinylated Concanavalin A has an appropriate number of biotins bound to provide the optimum staining characteristics for this lectin. This conjugate is supplied essentially free of unconjugated biotins and is preserved with sodium azide.
