HyClone HyQ-RS media DMEM-RS and MEM-RS are reduced serum (RS) versions of Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM) and Minimal Essential Medium (MEM), respectively. To enable reduced use of Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) in cell culture applications, the formulations are enhanced with antioxidants and other nutritional factors to compensate for the lower levels of critical serum factors.
