ISOLUTE® NH2 is a weak anion exchange sorbent used to extract acids from aqueous samples. Alternatively, it can be used as a polar sorbent to extract polar analytes from non-aqueous matrices.

ISOLUTE® NH2 is an aminopropyl bonded sorbent used for the extraction of strongly acidic compounds (e.g. those containing sulfonic acid groups) or analytes unstable under acidic conditions, from aqueous samples using a weak anion exchange retention mechanism. Analyte elution can be performed by neutralizing charge on the sorbent (high pH). The sorbent is supplied as the free base.

ISOLUTE® NH2 can also be used for extraction of polar compounds from a non-polar matrix using a hydrogen bonding retention mechanism.  Used in this mode, it is less retentive than ISOLUTE SI.
