Needles are manufactured to exacting tolerances from high precision stainless Steel tube stock. Slip-on needles for Series A-2, C, and D syringes feature a needle extension through the hub that fits inside the PTFE tip on the syringe. This design eliminates the dead volume inherent in conventional hubbed needles.
