Optical to USB Adaptor for Shimadzu Control, Including Cables

Translates signals between Optical cable and USB.

The OPT-USB adapter translates signals between an optical cable and a USB. The converter software emulates a COM port in the PC, so that it can also be used as an optical to RS232 converter. It can be used to control devices via optical link communication.

OPT-USB indicates the current state of communication using a green LED situated next to the USB connector on the right side of the box. The patterns corresponding to individual states are indicated on the backside.
