VECTASTAIN Universal Quick HRP Kit, Peroxidase (Concentrate), 1 Kit, is designed for rapid immunohistochemical staining of tissue sections. It relies on a proprietary preformed peroxidase-streptavidin complex and benefits from a short protocol (staining in <20 minutes following primary antibody incubation), high sensitivity, and low background. The biotinylated, universal pan-specific secondary antibody included in the kit recognizes mouse, rabbit, and goat primary antibodies as well as those from related species such as rat, bovine, and sheep. Each of the concentrated stock reagents are supplied in convenient dropper bottles for easy dispensing. The pan-specific secondary antibody should not be used to stain rat, mouse, or other rodent, rabbit, goat, bovine, or sheep tissue due to potential reactivity with endogenous IgG.
