Vector TrueVIEW Autofluorescence Quenching Kit with DAPI, 1 kit, removes unwanted autofluorescence in tissue sections due to aldehyde fixation, red blood cells, structural elements (e.g., collagen and elastin), and problematic tissues (e.g., kidney and spleen). This easy-to-use, one-step method improves overall signal-to-noise in most IF assay, and it is compatible with many fluorophores and with standard epifluorescence and confocal laser microscopes. Autofluorescence makes it difficult to distinguish specific signals in IF applications. This kit diminishes autofluorescence from non-lipofuscin sources, improving the signal-to-noise ratio to provide unambiguous localization of the antigen by binding to hydrophilic compounds and quenching endogenous autofluorescence.
