- Non-Ionic Amphipol (NAPol) is the newest addition to the Anatrace amphipol family. Unlike the anionic amphipol A8-35 and the zwitterionic PMAL amphipols, NAPol is soluble across a wide pH range, and is compatible with multivalent cations, such as calcium and magnesium. NAPol is compatible with a wide range of biophysical and structural techniques, including: cell-free synthesis, enzymatic assays, NMR studies, and cryo-em structure determination.
